The 2026 SPFAS Old Tyme Fall Fair is just around the corner, and we’re excited to be part of this great community event! We’ll be out with a booth at the Springbank Park For All Seasons on Saturday, September 12th from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, and we’d love to have you join us.

Whether you’re a longtime member or simply want to get involved, this is an easy and fun way to connect with the community, meet new people, and enjoy the Fall Fair while helping represent our organization.

The best part? Volunteer shifts are only 2 hours!

• First shift: Includes booth setup
• Middle shifts: Help out at the booth and enjoy the fair
• Last shift: Includes booth teardown

It’s a small time commitment with a great opportunity to get out, be part of the action, and help our organization connect with the community.

Springbank Curling Club is excited to offer four two hour curling clinics on the weekend of Oct 3-4, 2026.

Our learn to curl clinics are led by World Curling Tour and Olympic Athletes, and are designed for adults with little to no curling experience.  In two hours, you can expect to learn and practice delivery, sweeping, etiquette and strategy, and will give you the fundamentals you need to get started or get more comfortable with your game.

We provide all equipment and ask you bring running shoes and comfortable, stretchy clothing.

Evening leagues are open to male and female adult members and to full juniors, space permitting. We're happy to announce that FOUR new leagues will be coming to Springbank this fall! These leagues will be broken into a fall (Sep-Dec) and winter (Jan-Mar) season. Included are:

1) Tuesday Triples league: 10 games, October 13th-December 15th from 5:00-6:15pm. 6 ends, each player plays every position for two ends. $160/person per season.

2) Wednesday Greenhorn league: 9 games, October 21-December 16th from 4:30-6:30pm. For curlers with 2 years or less experience. Weekly coaching with different lesson plans. All equipment provided. $200/person per season.

3) Wednesday Family League: 10 games, October 14-December 16th from 4:30-6:30pm. Must have at least two juniors per team. Price $95/person. Banquet included

4) Friday Four End Fun league: OPEN format. 10 games, October 16-December 18th from 5:00-6:15pm. 4 ends, each player plays each position for one end. Social, fun league! $180/person per season.

The Springbank Junior Program is for curlers ages 8-18 with all levels of experience.  Our program runs Saturday morning from 10am until 12pm and is designed to introduce novice junior curlers to curling and to teach them the current rock delivery and sweeping techniques.

The first hour is instruction, focusing on rock release and delivery.  The second hour is a curling game to allow the juniors an opportunity to practise what they have learned - depending on the attendance we either have pick-up games mixing curlers of all experience levels or have games between curlers of similar experience level.

Curling equipment - grippers, sliders and brooms are available for use, free of charge. Helmets are required.

Friday 4-End Fun League

Format: Open format. 4 ends. Everyone plays each position for one end. Fun, social league !

Dates: October 16, 23, 30 November 6, 13, 20, 27 December 4, 11, 18. 

Cost: $180/person or $720/team.

Other information: Two "theme nights" throughout the season. Christmas social windup party on December 15th with food and prizes! To register, email the GM, Jared Jenkins at [email protected] 

This is a novice league intended for people with 0-2 years' curling experience. World curling tour professionals and experienced SCC members are on the ice during the sessions, moving from sheet-to-sheet, providing advice on everything from technical points to strategy.  The season comprises of 8 games, all games last 2 hours and are up to six ends of play. Game results are recorded and standings are kept, so you can take part in the fun of competition.  We accept registrations from any number of people - from individuals up to full teams.  

This is a great way to get familiar with the sport, so you can feel more comfortable to join one of our regular evening leagues or bonspiels.
