Welcome to Wednedsay Night Open Curling
The Springbank Curling Club is offering Open Curling League on Wednesday nights. This format alows for more flexibility and choice for teams as there are no limits to the composition of each team or order of play!
Each team's total points for the entire year will determine the "Wednesday Aggregate Champion".
· There are 22 draws (nights) and divisions will be determined based on the number of teams.
2024/2025 Format
Round One: 7 Weeks
A Division 6 Teams
- Single RR + two games (1st v 2nd; 3rd v 4th; 5th v6th & 1st v 4th; 2nd v 5th; 3rd v 6th)
B Division 8 Teams
- Single RR
Round Two: 6 Weeks
A Division 4 Teams
- Double RR
B Division 6 Teams
- Single RR + one game (1st v 6th; 2nd v 5th; 3rd v 4th)
C Division 4 Teams
- Double RR
Round Three: 6 Weeks
A Division 4 Teams
- Double RR
B Division 6 Teams
- Single RR + one game (1st v 6th; 2nd v 5th; 3rd v 4th)
C Division 4 Teams
- Double RR
Round Four: Playoffs 3 weeks
A Division 8 Teams: QF; SF; F
B Division 6 Teams QF; SF; F
· Scores will be posted as they become available.

Points will be awarded for each divisional games;

· If two or more teams are tied for highest points after any Division draw, winners will be determined by the following criteria: The team with the best win/loss record for games played against the other tied teams will be awarded the top spot and the associated cash prize.
